A clip that slips is usually the wrong size.
It is the thing almost nobody tells you when you buy a hair clip. A large claw needs a thick section to push back against; give it a thin one and the spring closes past its useful tension and the whole clip slides down the length. Give a small claw too much and it levers itself open.
So CLEO is organised around jaw size rather than trend. Every shape exists to hold a particular amount of hair, the guide tells you which that is, and the collection pages link to it rather than hoping you work it out yourself.
